PocketLoya
PocketLoya is an AI-powered legal assistant designed specifically for Cameroon. It makes legal information easier to understand and access by providing guidance based on Cameroonian laws in English, French, and Pidgin.
The platform allows users to ask legal questions, check their rights, analyze contracts and other legal documents, and generate documents such as contracts, notices, and NDAs. Answers can include references to the actual laws and articles behind them, making the information easier to verify.
PocketLoya also includes voice-based legal assistance, allowing users to speak with the AI instead of typing. Its emergency Rights Now feature provides access to key rights even offline, evidence recording, and alerts to trusted contacts with live location sharing.
Beyond immediate legal help, PocketLoya helps users build legal awareness through daily legal tips, quizzes, rights tracking, deadline reminders, and shareable legal information. It is currently available in Cameroon, with plans to expand to other African countries.
